Vice-Admiral Francis Murray Austin ( – ) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Austin was gunnery officer of Temeraire until 1913.[Citation needed]
He served as captain of Leviathan from February to April 1918.[1] when he assumed command of the second class protected cruiser Astræa.[2]
Austin served as captain of Iron Duke from August 1927 until 1928, [3] then of the Benbow from May 1928 to 1929.[4]
