Jump to navigationJump to searchVice-Admiral Anselan John Buchanan Stirling, C.B., Royal Navy (27 June, 1875 – 7 April, 1936) was an officer of the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
He was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1909.[1]
He was Captain (D) of Twelfth Destroyer Flotilla at the Battle of Jutland, commanding the flotilla from the bridge of destroyer Faulknor.[2]
Stirling was appointed a Naval Aide-de-Camp to the King on 8 July, 1926.[3]
