Yarmouth Naval Air Station
From The Dreadnought Project
Jump to navigationJump to searchYarmouth was home to a modest base operated by the Royal Naval Air Service during the Great War.
In Command
- Squadron Commander Reginald Gregory, 21 September, 1911[1] (and for Charge of Group)
- Squadron Captain De Courcy W. P. Ireland, 26 November, 1915 – 21 February, 1916
- Acting Wing Captain Robert M. Groves, 8 October, 1915[2] – 26 November, 1915[3] (vice Ireland)
There seems to be some confusion here. I think it is on Grove's end.
