Life & Career
Coombs was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant R.N.R. on 29 June, 1911.[1]
Coombs was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander R.N.R. on 29 June, 1919. He was demobilised in November, 1919.[2]
Coombs was promoted to the rank of Commander R.N.R. on 30 June, 1923.[3]
Coombs was promoted to the rank of Captain R.N.R. on 30 June, 1930.[4]
