Life & Career
Hines gained two months' time on passing out of Britannia.
Hine was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 October, 1909.[1]
Hine was appointed in command of the submarine C 35 on 2 September, 1913.[2]
Hine was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 October, 1917.[3]
Post-War
On 9 August, 1920, he was appointed in command of the submarine K 9.[4]
Hine was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1923.[5]
Hine was placed on the Retired List at his own request with the rank of Captain on 28 October, 1934.[6]
