Edward George Shortland

Admiral Edward George Shortland, C.B., Royal Navy, Retired (2 November, 1855 – 7 April, 1929) was an officer of the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

He was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1900.[1]

Shortland was placed on the Retired List at his own request on 11 April, 1912.[2] He was advanced to Admiral on the Retired List on 25 August, 1918.[3]
