Commander Alfred Bowman, (30 July, 1888 – ) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Prior to entering the Navy in June, 1907, Bowman was a gardener. He was born in Tunbridge, Kent.
Bowman was promoted to the rank of Acting Mate on 15 February, 1915. He was a good boxer.
Bowman was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 December, 1916.
Bowman was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 December, 1924.
Bowman was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1928.
