Life & Career
Hughes was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 October, 1908.[1]
Appointed as Lieutenant (G) in Prince Rupert on 1 May, 1915.[2]
Hughes was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 October, 1916.[3]
Appointed as gunnery officer in Bellerophon in July, 1918.
