H.M.S. B 2 was one of eleven "B" class coastal submarines completed for the Royal Navy.
Service
Lieutenant and Commander Percy Borough O'Brien drowned with fourteen of his crew when S.S. Amerika rammed and sank B 2.

- Lieutenant in Command Percy B. O'Brien, 26 October, 1911[9] – 4 October, 1912[10] (died when vessel lost under his command)
