Rear-Admiral (retired) Francis Marten, ( – 17 August, 1891) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Marten was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant in November, 1844.
Marten was promoted to the rank of Commander on 25 May, 1854.
Marten was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 January, 1861.
Retired on 1 April, 1870, Marten was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral (retired) on 1 August, 1877.
