Captain (retired) Eric Wollaston Kitson, Royal Navy (7 March, 1888 – 18 February, 1944) was an officer of the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

The son of Captain E. Kitson of Paynsford Newton Abbot.

Kitson was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 December, 1909.

Kitson was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 December, 1917.

Kitson was granted the acting rank of Commander on 29 August, 1918.

Post-War

Kitson was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1923.

Kitson was placed on the Retired List at his own request at the rank of Captain on 7 March, 1934.

World War II

Mobilised 1938.

Collision between H.M.T. [illeg] and S.S. Siak, 1941 or so.
