Commander Herbert James Gedge, R.N. (3 May, 1859 – ) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
In July, 1871, Gedge was sixth ranked of twenty candidates who passed the entrance examinations, but who were not amongst the thirty-five taken in. He was told he was welcome to try again in the coming November testing cycle.[1]
