Captain (retired) George Vivian Barrett Faulkner, (18 March, 1897 – ) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Faulkner was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 February, 1918, adjusted from May 1918.[1]
Faulkner was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 February, 1926.[2]
Faulkner was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1932.[3]
Faulkner was placed on the Retired List on account of age at the rank of Captain on 14 May, 1947 and granted the War Service Rank of Captain. In 1948, he proceeded to Capetown, South Africa, to take up residence.[4]
