Lieutenant-Commander (retired) William Charles Buttenshaw, (19 March, 1878 – ) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Buttenshaw was a warrant officer, intially a Gunner with seniority of 30 December, 1904.
Buttenshaw was was promoted to the rank of Chief Gunner with seniority of 13 September, 1918.
Buttenshaw was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 12 August, 1922.
He was palced on the Retired List on account of age on 19 March, 1928.
Buttenshaw was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander (retired) on 12 August, 1930.
