Captain (retired) William Robert Willis, R.N. (1 October, 1869 – 15 December, 1912) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

The son of Sir William Willis, Esq..

Willis was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 April, 1892.

Willis was appointed in command of the brig Nautilus from 15 January, 1901 to 4 December, 1903.

Willis was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1904.

Willis was placed on the Retired List at his own request at the rank of Captain on 1 June, 1910.
