Commander Theodore Keppel Elmsley, R.N., (10 October, 1885 – 21 February, 1927) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Born in Leamington, Warwick, Elmsley's Service Record is marked (Colonial).
Elmsley was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 June, 1907.
Elmsley was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 30 June, 1915. Elmsley was appointed to Tiger from 22 August 1914 to 1 October, 1915. On 9 October, he was sent to the R.N.A.S..
Elmsley was promoted to the rank of Flight Commander on 12 December, 1915.
Elmsley was promoted to the rank of Squadron Commander on 30 June, 1916.
From 11 March, 1918 to 8 November 1919, Elmsley was appointed captain of Rigid Airship No. 26.
Post-War
Elmsley was placed on the Retired List at his own request with the rank of Commander (retired) on 25 October, 1928.
