Ganz Danubius & Co. was a Hungarian shipbuilding company.

History
Danubius was originally formed as Vereinigte Schiff- und Maschinenbau A.G. Danubius-Schoenichen-Hartmann through the merger of two Budapest mechanical engineering firms in 1896. [2] On 31 January, 1905, the name was changed to Schiffbau- und Maschinenfabriks A.G. Danubius, shortly after taking over the site (but not the tooling) of a former shipyard in Fiume. [3] In 1911, under government pressure, the company merged with Ganz & Co (Budapest) to form Ganz & Co. – Danubius Maschinen-, Waggon und Schiffsbau A.G. [4]
