Commander Leonard Dacres, ( – 15 November, 1869) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Dacres was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 24 August, 1866.

Dacres died of yellow fever while on passage home from North America in a mail packet and was posthumously promoted to the rank of Commander on 20 July, 1869 by the Commander-in-Chief, Sir Mundy.
