Lieutenant-Commander Charles Rupert Grant Wilkinson, (23 May, 1911 – ) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Wilkinson was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 16 April, 1933.[1]
He was awarded the Ogilvy Medal for the year 1936, having placed first in examinations for Lieutenant (T). He also won the Robert Roxburgh Memorial Prize.
He was appointed to the aircraft carrier Ark Royal on 3 January, 1939.[2]
Wilkinson was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 16 April, 1941.[3] He was serving aboard the aircraft carrier Formidable in April of 1944.[4]
