Commander (retired) John George Neligan, R.N. (21 April, 1881 – 19 May, 1942) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Born in Tavistock.
Neligan was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 31 March, 1903.
Neligan was placed on the Retired List owing to defective eyesight on 17 November, 1908.
Neligan was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 31 March, 1911.
Reverted to the Retired List on 24 August, 1917.
Post-War
Neligan was promoted to the rank of Commander (retired) on 21 April, 1921.
