Vice-Admiral Francis John Foley, Royal Navy (2 December, 1855 – 5 March, 1911) was an officer of the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
He was appointed to the sloop Basilisk on 12 August, 1893.[1]
Foley was promoted to the rank of Captain on 31 December, 1895.[2]
He was appointed a Naval Aide-de-Camp to King Edward VII on 24 May, 1905, vice Chisholm-Batten.[3]

Foley was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 1 July, 1906.[4]
He was promoted to the rank of Vice-Admiral on 3 January, 1911, vice Graham.[5]
