John Uniacke Penrose Fitzgerald ( – ) served in the Royal Navy. He was the son of Charles C. P. FitzGerald and brother of Robert F. U. P. Fitzgerald.[1]
Life & Career
Fitzgerald was appointed to Collingwood as torpedo officer, qualified as an interpreter, on 6 January, 1914.[2] He fought in her at the Battle of Jutland.[3]
Fitzgerald was appointed in command of the light cruiser Caledon in December, 1929.[4]
