Hong Kong was an important base for the Royal Navy throughout the Dreadnought Era and right up to 1997. It was based in H.M.S. Tamar before moving ashore.
History
By early 1927, Fleet Air Arm Flights Nos. 401, 442 and 443B were based here, under a Headquarters Flight under the command of Flight Lieutenant R.A.F. P. J. Farmer.[1]
