Captain (retired) Frederick James Evans, C.B.E. (26 July, 1867 – ) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Evans was given the rank of Lieutenant upon joining the service on 31 October, 1895.
Evans was placed on the Retired List at his own request with the rank of Commander upon the expiration of his foreign service leave on 6 June 1912.
Evans was subsequently promoted to the rank of Captain (retired) in recognition of his war service with seniority of 11 November 1918.
