Commander (retired) Alick William Gush, (26 January, 1897 – ) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
The son of George E. Gush, a retired solicitor.
During the Great War, Gush served in Collingwood, Australia, Nottingham, Glorious and Calypso.
Gush was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 April, 1918.
Gush was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 April, 1926.
World War II
Gush was placed on the Retired List due to age with the rank of Commander on 26 January, 1942.
