Commander Sandford Grant Radcliffe Nevile, R.N. (23 October, 1875 – 15 January, 1918) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Born in Shelbrooke Park, Yorkshire.
Nevile was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 31 December, 1898.
Nevile was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1911.
Nevile died in Seaman's Hospital, Greenwich from accidental injuries suffered at New Cross Station. A memorial service at the Royal Naval College, Greenwich was attended by Admiral Sir Henry Jackson and Lady Jackson as well as Rear-Admiral Jervoise.[1]
