Commander Arthur Edward Harford, R.N. (10 February, 1859 – 22 September, 1897) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
In July, 1871, Harford was ranked sixteenth in order of merit of thirty-five candidates accepted as Naval Cadets following the entrance examinations.[1]
Harford was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 12 September, 1882.
On 10 July, 1894, Harford was sent to a sanatorium to regain his health. He was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1895.
Harford was retired as unfit on 30 April, 1897 and died later that year.
