Konteradmiral Magnus von Levetzow, (8 January]], 1871 – 13 March, 1939) was an officer of the Kaiserliche Marine during the First World War. An accomplished sea and staff officer, he briefly commanded the 2nd Scouting Group, planned Operation Albion and was instrumental in Germany opening unrestricted submarine warfare on the United States of America. After the war, he supported the Kapp Putsch and played a part in Hitler's rise to power.
Buried at the Südwestfriedhof, Stahnsdorf, Berlin.
