Captain (retired) Philip Colquhoun Pearson, (24 August, 1872 – 11 September, 1933) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Pearson was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 June, 1894.

Pearson was severely reprimanded and ducked 18 months seniority (to 30 December, 1895), in a 1896 Court Martial for having hazarded H.M.S. Landrail.

Pearson was placed on the Retired List at his own request on 30 June, 1912. He was promoted to the rank of Commander (retired) on 24 August, 1912 as he continued to work as a naval assistant in the Hydrographic department. During the war, he worked in the charting department at Pembroke.

In recognition of his wartime service, Pearson was promoted to the rank of Captain with seniroity of 11 November, 1918.
