Commander Charles Wills Tinson, O.B.E. (26 November, 1882 – 22 February, 1927) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Tinson gained four months' time on passing out of Britannia.
Tinson was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 31 December, 1903.
Tinson was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 31 December, 1911.
Tinson was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1916.
Post-War
Tinson was placed on the Retired List as medically unfit on 4 August, 1926, having recently been diagnosed with pulmonary thrombosis.
Tinson died at 8 Inston Road, Colchester on 22 February, 1927.
