Lieutenant Clarence Edward Stanhope Palmer, Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve (28 October, 1883 – ?, 1936) was an officer of the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve during the First World War.

Palmer was born on 28 October, 1883 and educated at St. Paul's School and Trinity College, Cambridge.[1] He passed a Foreign Office competitive examination on 6 February, 1906 and was appointed a Student Interpreter on 10 February. He was promoted to Assistant on 7 September, 1908.[2]
