Lieutenant R.N.R. (temporary) Robert Fulton Walker, (18 May, 1888 – ) served in the Royal Naval Reserve during the Great War.
Life & Career
Born in Glasgow. In mid 1915, he was in Devonport working with lighters. On 25 January, 1916 he was appointed to Canopus, additional, for service with Senior Naval Officer, Smyrna Patrol. By March 1917 he was back in England, shuttling barges and motor lighters in coastal waters.[1]
Walker was promoted to the rank of Temporary Lieutenant R.N.R. on 29 April, 1917. Walker was demobilised on 15 August, 1919 shortly after a five month stint in command of the convoy sloop H.M.S. Spiraea.
