Commander John Jackson Cuthbert Ridley, R.N. (3 February, 1885 – ) was an officer in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Ridley ranked forty-fifth among 62 successful candidates in examinations for entry to the Britannia intake term of September 1899, with 2191 marks.[1]

Ridley was appointed in command of the destroyer Fairy on 7 November, 1911.[2]

He was appointed in command of the destroyer Gipsy on 18 November, 1913.[3]

Ridley was in command of the destroyer Mindful of the Twelfth Destroyer Flotilla at the Battle of Jutland.[4]
