Lieutenant Thomas Stapleton, R.N. (3 October, 1860 – 1 November, 1914) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Stapleton was promoted to the rank of Chief Boatswain on 16 August, 1909.
Stapleton was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 11 March, 1914.
Stapleton was appointed to the armoured cruiser Monmouth in August 1914 and would die in her when she was lost at the Battle of Coronel on 1 November, 1914.
