Captain (retired) Frederick Cathcart Guy St. Clair, R.N. (29 May, 1878 – 21 March, 1931) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Born in Clifton.
St. Clair was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 June, 1901.
St. Clair was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 30 June, 1909.
St. Clair was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1915.
St. Clair was appointed in command of the battleship St. Vincent on 4 December, 1919.[1]
Placed on the Retired List at his own request on 31 March, 1923, St. Clair was promoted to the rank of Captain (retired) on 29 May, 1923.
