Admiral John Eliot Pringle, R.N., Retired ( – 6 March, 1908) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
In 1861, Pringle was awarded the Royal Humane Society's Bronze Medal for saving life from drowning.[1]
Pringle was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 17 April, 1862.
Pringle was promoted to the rank of Commander on 25 January, 1876.
Pringle was promoted to the rank of Captain on 31 December, 1884.
Pringle was placed on the Retired List at his own request on 16 April, 1892.
Pringle was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 22 June, 1899.
