Commander (retired) Henry Grant Monckton, (28 January, 1860 – ) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Born in Clifton.
Monckton was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 31 DEcember, 1882.
Monckton was reported to be suffering from deep melancholy and with suicidal tendencies in February, 1901. By 24 April, his condition was considered to have improved substantially.
Monckton was placed on the Retired List with the rank of Commander on 28 January, 1905.
