Captain (retired) Arthur Gwyn Moreton Meredyth, C.B.E., R.N. (21 July, 1862 – 14 December, 1955) was an officer of the Royal Navy.
Early Life & Career
Meredyth was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 June, 1885.[1]
On 7 July 1887, he was loaned to command the first-class torpedo boat T.B. 38 for manoeuvres.[2]
Meredyth was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1898.[3]
Meredyth was placed on the Retired List at his own request with the rank of Captain on 21 July, 1908.
On 27 July, 1915 Meredyth was appointed Senior Naval Officer, Thurso.[4]
Post-War
Meredyth reverted to the Retired List on 12 May, 1919.
