Gunner Henry William McClelland, R.N. (6 May, 1875 – 28 August, 1915) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
McClelland was granted the acting rank of Gunner on 2 August, 1902 and confirmed in the rank on 19 August, 1903 while serving in Isis.
McClelland was appointed in command of the first-class torpedo boat T.B. 101 on 16 March, 1914.[1] He commanded her until being appointed to Natal as the ship's gunner. He was admitted to Plymouth Hospital on 26 May 1915 in a serious condition and died two days later of ureamia.
