Commander (retired) Alfred William Gush, C.B.E., O.B.E. (9 October, 1871 – ) served in the Royal Navy and the Royal Naval Reserve. I presume he is related to the younger Alick William Gush.

Life & Career

Gush retired at his own request with the rank of Commander on 24 July, 1912.

Gush was promoted to the rank of Captain (retired) in recognition of war service with seniority of 11 November, 1918.
