Commander Ewen Francis Domville, (24 July, 1851 – 15 November, 1912) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Domville was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 13 October, 1876.

Domville was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1892.

Recently evaluated as being nervous and "unsuccessful" in navigation following a grounding of Algerine and earlier mishaps, Domville was placed on the Retired List at his own request under the provisions of Order in Council of 22 February, 1870 on 17 October, 1899. He was not to receive a step in rank.
