Chief Gunner George Collins, R.N. (26 March, 1874 – 13 May, 1915) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Collins was made Acting Gunner on 8 February, 1898.

Promoted to Chief Gunner on 8 February, 1913.[1]

Collins was appointed in command of the first-class torpedo boat T.B. 042 on 20 May, 1912.[2]

Collins left his second appointment in command of T.B. 042 when he was appointed to the battleship Goliath on 15 May, 1914 and died when she was sunk in action at the Dardanelles.
