Captain Henry St. George Somerset Clive, R.N., Retired (4 December, 1863 – 1 May, 1914) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Clive was born in Bermuda and was raiswed by his mother.

Clive was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant in December, 1886.

Clive was promoted to the rank of Commander in December, 1899.

Clive was placed on the Retired List at his own request with the rank of Captain on 8 November, 1910.

He likely died of cancer, having been treated for epithelioma of the jaw in May 1913.
