Commander Edward Harry Fletcher Boughey, R.N., Retired (25 August, 1878 – 20 December, 1953) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Born in Norwich and raised by his mother.
On 3 October 1899, his name was removed from the List of Royal Naval officers for misconduct. It was restored on 21 December, although he'd be subjected to monthly reports. Boughey expressed his gratitude.
Boughey was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant with seniority of 31 December, 1900.
On 6 March 1909 he was appointed to Pegasus as first and gunnery officer, but he was removed from her on 2 August 1910 by a Court Martial in which he pleaded guilty to being drunk on board. He lost a year of seniority to 31 December, 1901. He was placed on the Retired List on 30 September 1910.
