Commander (retired) Stuart Duncan Blair, (4 November, 1881 – 30 November, 1939) served in the Royal Navy as a phsyical training instructor.
Life & Career
Born in Eccles, Manchester the son of Arthur Macdonald Blair, Solicitor.
Blair was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 June, 1903.
Blair was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 30 June, 1911.
Blair was placed on the Retired List as unfit on 17 August, 1911.
Blair was promoted to the rank of Commander (retired) on 11 November, 1918.
Post-War
Reverted to Retired List on 2 February, 1919.
