Captain William Power Carne, C.B.E., R.N. (31 May, 1898 – ) served in the Royal Navy.

Carne applied to serve in airships in June, 1917.^[1]

Carne was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 April, 1919.^[2]

Carne was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 April, 1927.^[3]

Carne was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1933.^[4]

Carne was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1941.^[5]

Carne was placed on the Retired List on 7 July, 1950.^[6]
