Commander (retired) Charles Mackay John Willis, (21 September, 1889 – 19 July, 1956) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
The son of Lieutenant-Colonel C. Hope-Willis was born in the Royal Marine Barracks at [illeg].[1]
Willis was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 April, 1912.[2]
Willis was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 1 April, 1920.[3]
Willis was placed on the Retired List at his own request at the rank of Commander on 24 April, 1923.[4]
World War II
Some appointments on shore.
He died in 1956 from complications caused by a fall.[5]
