Lieutenant-Commander Edward Christian Frederic Nicolay, D.S.O. (15 February, 1907 – 6 December, 1941) served in the Royal Navy.
As with many men born c. 1899 or later, his Service Records at The National Archives do not reflect activity between 1931 and 1939 or so.
Life & Career
Nicolay was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 March, 1930.[1]
Nicolay was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 1 March, 1938.[2]
Nicolay died when Perseus was lost under his command.
