Captain (retired) Neville Brevoort Carey Brock, R.N. (25 September, 1883 – ) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

The son of physician and surgeon A. Cameron Brock was born in Dorking.[1]

Brock underwent examinations in July, 1897 and gained entrance to Britannia's term of August, 1897, his 1312 marks placing him twenty-third among the sixty-three candidates accepted as naval cadets.[2]

Brock was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 31 December, 1904.[3]

Brock was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 31 December, 1912.[4]

Brock was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1917.[5]

Brock was placed on the Retired List at his own request at the rank of Captain on 25 September, 1929.[6]

World War II

Reverted to Retired List on 6 June, 1945.[7]
