H.M.S. Raven was one of eleven gunboats of the Banterer class completed for the Royal Navy around 1880.

Service

Commissioned at Sheerness on 26 April, 1888.[3]

In 1913, she was in Portsmouth acting as a tender to Excellent.[4]
